With the advent of this great new technology called the internet, Rosanne began her website in 1998 featuring the Sit’n'Stroll. However, she soon learned there were many other strollers not readily available to families in their local areas and began offering a wide selection of products from both well known and lesser known manufacturers. Operations began in her basement with the help of family members. UPS and other carriers delivered and picked up products on a daily basis. Her basement filled as she added new brands. Soon, running the Company became overwhelming. After the tragedy of September 11th, Rosanne decided she would no longer maintain the hours required to run the Company and that her children need more of her. She turned for help to those who had helped her get started.

StrollerMama was created in 2005 by two moms- me (Erika) and my friend, Amy. After four successful years, Amy’s family moved to Australia and I became the sole owner of StrollerMama. Amy was an integral part of StrollerMama from the start and helped countless parents over the years. Amy and I have known each other and have been great friends since fourth grade. We started StrollerMama together from the ground up.
It all began in 1965 when Owen Maclaren designed and patented his prototype Baby Buggy — the B-01. The iconic blue and white stripes and aluminium frame imparts a vintage style that is popular and modern today. The revolutionary lightweight, 3D fold design continues to be an important and timeless prototype for the industry.
